A review of the Members' Dinner 2022

Members Dinner Graphic

Back after a three-year absense at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, the BPA Members Dinner 2022 was appreciated by all who were there.

After a drinks reception guests were welcomed by Chair of the Board Anjna Patel MBE, who spoke about what the BPA means to her. "It's a fabulous community and I am so proud of it" she said "We need to continue to work collaboratively and encourage the younger generation to come through". BPA President Jade Neville then took to the stage and spoke about her presidential year so far which has included the development of research into equality, diversity and inclusion in the sector, and the launch of the BPA's Veterans in Parking Group.

Guests were then treated to an after-dinner chat with Jade Edwards, the only female racing driver in the British Touring Car Championship. She spoke about the obstacles she has faced and her passion for the sport before taking questions from the floor.

The evening continued with an auction of racing memorabilia kindly donated by Jade Edwards which raised more than £1000 for the BPA's corporate charity Macmillan Cancer Support. This ran alongside a silent auction for the charity which took the total raised on the night to almost £8000.

Dancing to the band Sharp Soul brought the highly successful evening to a close.
