Parking Technology

The aims of the Parking Technology interest group are to provide the opportunity for those involved in developing & distributing parking equipment and technology to meet and discuss best practice and develop standards for new and existing products and services in the industry. The Parking Technology interest group is also constantly reviewing emerging technology that can be used by different types of parking customers. Over the last few years, group members have been very active innovating and developing new products and features to accelerate the take-up of cashless payments and contactless payments using cards and smart phones. ANPR has also been an area of major development incorporating subscriber access and particularly disabled users.
