The purpose of the Technology, Innovation and Research Board is to enable the BPA to maintain and enhance its position as the leading professional body in parking and to promote the improvement and betterment of the parking sector.
Conor Greely is the Chair of the Technology, Innovation and Research Board. He was elected in 2018 and is up for re-election in 2024.
All positions on this Service Board are elected from the membership. Some positions are limited to members of the BPA Council while others require a member to meet certain eligibility requirements, which will be explained in more detailed below.

How can I get involved?
If you are interested in the Chair of the Technology, Innovation and Research Board and want to nominate yourself you will need to provide a 500-word nomination statement, a picture of yourself and a telephone number for BPA internal use. You may only nominate yourself for one position at a time so please choose wisely. All eligible nomination statements received before their deadline will be considered. Please note that the Chair of the Technology, Innovation and Research Board will also automatically become a member of the BPA Board and that will require additional time commitments.
What happens after I've nominated myself?
If there is more then one eligible candidate, they will proceed to an election held over the last two weeks of the month. The successful candidates will be announced during the first week of the following month.
