Beginning with appeals that have been adjourned the longest, POPLA will write to 500 motorists each day from 22 March inviting further evidence within 21 days. If for any reason a motorist needs to revisit a car park they will be able to do so after 29 March when restrictions are lifted.
There may be exceptional reasons cited to not restart an appeal and each case will be considered individually.
As motorists respond, parking operators will be notified of all relevant evidence on the portal and the case will fall in line with normal process. If a motorist does not respond within 21 days the case will proceed with the initial submission only.
Any new appeals submitted after 22 March 2021 will not be adjourned and will follow normal process.
