How to join

1. Become a member of the Safer Parking Scheme by downloading and completing the application form and paying the membership fee (see pricing below). Alternatively, contact saferparking@britishparking.co.uk  
2. You can also contact your local Area Manager directly. They will provide expertise and advice to help you get your parking facilities to the required standard to achieve the Park Mark Award.
3. A date will be arranged for a Police Accredited Assessor to visit your site and assess your facility against the Safer Parking Scheme criteria. Your Area Manager will assist you through this process.
4. Once your facility has passed the assessment you will receive the Park Mark, Safer Parking Award and will then be entitled to all of the benefits that come with being an Award holder

Pricing (please note these prices are effective 1st April 2024)

To become a member of the Scheme there is an annual fee of £85 + VAT. This entitles you to a number of benefits.

There is a charge for registering each facility that qualifies for the Park Mark award*. A sliding scale exists that provides a discount relative to the number of facilities you wish to register as follows:
